These days I am listening to a leaked mp3 version of Minor Love, the new Adam Green album, waiting for the release on January 8.
Er panza ha sfornato un nuovo singolo, l'album è atteso per marzo e il 2008 è quindi tutto in discesa. Morning after Midnight si può ascoltare su myspace, comprare da iTunes US (se si possiede una carta US) o cercare su google per scaricarlo in attesa dell'uscita europea dell'album. Questa è onestà. Quello che non è onesto è che lo schifoso bipede di Central Park South ha messo insieme altri 131 secondi di suoni ad alto tasso di assuefazione e dipendenza, permettendosi livelli di sfacciataggine sino a ora sconosciuti persino alla sua sgradevole persona. Non riesco a ribellarmi all'istinto omicida nei suoi confronti che mi sale dal profondo ogni volta che attacca l'interludio centrale del brano. Vogliamo parlare della quantità di schiaffi che gli tirerei ogni volta che sento "cha cha cha"? Ridendo di gusto, ritmicamente? Lasciamo stare. Morning after midnight è il segno che serviva per superare l'inverno, un pezzo che il nostro cercava di creare da almeno 3 anni e finalmente gli è riuscito. Il detestabile ha riempito con il sax che già avevamo avuto il piacere di ascoltare durante l'ultimo tour con band al seguito, ha osato nella ripetitività e brevità oltre il consentito e ha ancora una volta preso per il culo tutti e cha cha cha. Ogni volta che sento quel "eeeeeeeeehhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyy" in cui sia la E che la I sono incredibilmente e intollerabilmente tirate lunghe, contemporaneamente... ogni volta lo abbraccerei piangendo chiedendogli come fa, poi lo strangolerei. Quello che è certo è che ora so cosa fare: devo scrivere un testo dal titolo: "tre motivi per cui Adam Green è un bastardo". So come farlo, adesso.

"I played a show last week in this big theatre, and everybody was quiet, except there was this one guy talking so loudly in the front row," recalled Green.
